  • I'm the 190,434,783 richest person on
    earth!

    Discover how rich you are!

It's easy to complain about how little we have compared to wealthier
relatives and neighbours. There's the classic story of the boy who
whined about not having a new pair of shoes - until he met someone who
did not have any feet. It's apocryphal but the lesson is clear.
Now here's a simple test to change your mind about how 'poor' you are.
Click on the box above and follow instructions. My guess is, you'll discover you are probably  among 5% of the world's richest people.

After you're done (and if you're not among the world's deprived), try to make an effort to help make poverty history.

  • Well, I don't technically have an income, so I put Jeff's in.  Apparently just taking into account income and not income per family member, we are in the top 7.22% richest people in the world. :)

I wonder how it breaks down further. Would be neat to see the averages per household, with input for number of people supported on a total income. :)

  • Income is certainly a good indicator of wealth and yes, it would be great if they could break the figures down as you say. But I was also thinking of other indicators too. I think they are just as important to the quality of life - notwithstandng US standards - like social services, health, etc.
